Calvin & Klein

Hi — I’m Calvin. I’m a U.S. military veteran, an SC430 enthusiast, and the founder of SC430Mods. But more than any title, I’m a father, a creative modder, and someone who finally decided to stop trading time for money — and start building a life I actually believe in.

SC430Mods isn’t just about Lexus parts. It’s about freedom, purpose, and a deep love for doing the work — by hand, from the ground up.

My Story

I Love Doing This — And It Shows

There’s something deeply satisfying about solving problems no one else has, crafting elegant solutions, and shipping out something I’m proud to put my name on. I don’t just sell these mods — I build them, test them, refine them, and use them.

With over 20 years of experience as an electronics technician, I’ve spent most of my life troubleshooting, modifying, and fixing what others overlook. That skillset flows directly into SC430Mods — from the design work to the soldering bench to the final product in your hands.

When a customer writes me back to say, “This fixed something that’s bugged me for years,” it hits different. Because I know what it’s like to care about the details. To want it done right.

Escaping the Grind to Build Something Real

I know what it’s like to put your head down, work hard, and still feel like something’s missing.

For years, I did what I thought I was supposed to do — steady job, reliable hours, paycheck every two weeks. But inside, I kept wondering: Is this really it?

Eventually, I realized I wanted something different. Not easier — just more meaningful. I wanted to build something I cared about, with my hands and heart fully in it.

That’s what SC430Mods is for me — a way to do work I love, build toward something that matters, and stay connected to the people who matter most.

If you’ve ever felt that pull — that desire to create, to contribute, to feel present again — then in a way, we’re already on the same road.

Right now, I’m still working a full-time job during the day, with a 2.5-hour daily commute — all while running SC430Mods at night and on weekends. If my replies to emails or messages take a little time, it’s never because I don’t care. I personally read everything, and I’m always working to make response times better as the business grows.

Thanks for your patience — and for believing in what I’m building.

A Mission Fueled by Fatherhood

This business isn’t just for me — it’s for my son, Klein.

My story as a father began long before he was born. I have two older children from a past relationship here in the U.S. — and despite my love and effort, I experienced what too many fathers quietly go through: the legal and emotional loss of fatherhood.

That experience broke something in me. Not because I gave up (I almost did though), but because I realized how easy it is in this system to be erased from your child’s life, even when you're trying your best to be present, involved, and loving.

That pain shaped everything that followed.

It’s part of why I chose to start a family in the Philippines — a place where the role of a father is still respected, where extended family is part of everyday life, and where the idea of togetherness still holds real meaning.

Now, together with Klein’s mom, we’ve made a clear decision: Klein deserves more than being raised by a screen while his parents are consumed by work. He deserves real connection — with culture, with family, with the people who love him most.

That’s why they’re headed to the Philippines to give him that — and it’s my job to catch up as quickly as I can.

SC430Mods isn’t just how I provide. It’s how I rebuild what was lost, do it differently, and show my son — and maybe one day, all my children — what it looks like to never stop fighting for family.

From the OFW Struggle to a New Model

If you’ve never heard of an OFW — Overseas Filipino Worker — imagine this:
You love your kids so much that you’re willing to leave them behind for years, just to support them financially.

That’s the reality for millions of Filipino families. Parents working abroad while children grow up without them — all because the jobs at home don’t pay enough.

Now I’m living a version of that myself.

So here’s my commitment: I want SC430Mods to eventually manufacture in the Philippines — not to chase lower costs, but to create good-paying, skill-based jobs in a place where those jobs can change lives.

These are hands-on assembly roles — the kind of work that’s often considered low-wage in the U.S., but can be life-changing income in many Filipino communities. My goal isn’t to replace American jobs — it’s to offer a better path than forced separation for families in countries where working abroad is often the only option.

I believe in building where it matters — not just physically, but emotionally. For me, that means building close to my son, while helping other families stay close to theirs too.

More Than Mods

When you support SC430Mods, you’re not just buying a part — you’re joining a mission. You’re helping:

  • A veteran reclaim his life

  • A father reunite with his child

  • A craftsman do what he loves

  • A business create jobs that keep families together

Every order is a vote for something better — not just for me, but for what work can be.

From My Garage to Yours — Thank You

If you’ve ever wanted to break free and do something you love…
If you’ve ever missed your kid while working overtime…
If you’ve ever believed that people deserve more than just “getting by”...

You’re already part of this.
