Hello! I'm Henri! I'm an Aerospace Quality Assurance Engineer III, SC430 enthusiast, and partner of SC430Mods. I once was just a kid following everything by the book. Go to school, get a good degree, get a job, and work hard to become successful just like everyone else. That perspective all changed in mid-2022 while in college. Now, I'm proud to be part of something beyond what I thought what my future would be like now being a partner with Calvin and SC430Mods and live life with a greater purpose.
How it all started
It all started when my dad and I wanted to bond and help me develop hands-on practice to become an engineer. We saw a 2003 Lexus SC430 in Egyptian Sand Pearl thinking as an "easy money maker because it's a Lexus to flip and sell. Once we brought the car home, we found out that this "Lexus just to make money" was a hardtop convertible with a V8 engine! We were thinking we hit the jackpot in making money off of this flip but once we repaired it, my dad had so much fun driving the car that he decided to keep it!
Taking Action
After having my father keep his SC430 and seeing the potential of what this car is all about, I wanted one for myself. We bought another SC430 from Hollywood, CA in Jan. 2023 and barely got it home as it had so many issues with the car when we bought it. The Lexus dealership tried to charge $8,000 to fix my new to me SC430. As a broke college student at the time, obviously this is absurd. Seeing that there was practically little to nothing on the internet on how to fix this car, I took initiative into what I have learned from my father and what I learned in college that if I want to do anything with this car, I needed to learn on my own. I became my own expert in the world of the SC430 in matter of a year learning from forums, repair manuals, and even Car Mechanic Simulator the video game. I went through great lengths to learn as much as I could. Doing this has saved me thousands of dollars and I felt like others are in the same boat as me not wanting to spend so much money on repairs to a mechanic that doesn't know anything about the SC430. This is when I knew I had to do something to help others out across the world that have an SC430 and that's when HowToSC430 was born.
The Creation of HowToSC430
Due to the fact that the SC430 is not a common car you see around the road, the lack of aftermarket mods, and videos related to the SC430 I knew something needed to be done otherwise this Lexus model would lose interest and eventually go extinct. I created HowToSC430 on YouTube as a way to record videos on how to do the basic maintenance on the SC430 and the complex things as well like fixing your convertible. This way, everyone can benefit in doing things DIY.

It doesn't stop there, at this point it's almost 2024 and I already have graduated college with an engineering degree and there is practically nothing available for the SC430. This is when I made a promise to myself to start creating mods for the SC430 along with OEM replacements to save money and do it all on YouTube to document my progress and see how far can an SC430 really become while pushing my engineering abilities and make use of my degree. This is when I found Calvin Azzola already doing just that with SC430Mods!

Partnering with SC430Mods
Starting a business from scratch is never easy. Finding out that someone already beat me to the idea of creating a business dedicated for the SC430 is a blessing! After a few years of communicating with Calvin and showing him my passion and skills with the SC430, he realized I'm serious in putting in my all to help the SC430 community.

Now, I'm proud to be partnering with Calvin and SC430Mods to be able to pursue our dreams of designing and creating amazing mods for the SC430 and eventually beyond just SC430's! Everything we do with SC430Mods is based on real work, real trial and error, and figuring it out one step at a time.
