Microphone Troubleshooting for Apple Users
If your calls aren’t routing through the Bluetooth mic:
- Max out your phone volume the first time you make a call.
- Check your iPhone settings: Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Call Audio Routing, then select your preferred audio destination.
- If audio sounds clearer when speaking into your phone, your calls may be routing through the phone’s mic instead of the Bluetooth mic.
- U.S. users: To test, dial 804-222-1111 and hear your voice repeated back to you.

Since I had to disassemble components to get to the factory screen to ship it to Calvin for the CarPlay/screen upgrade, I decided to work on installing this BT adapter. Nothing beats updating my aging SC430 current technology. I had to consult Henri and his replies were speedy. The grassroots support that is behind the SC 430 is remarkable. Thank you for keeping my Pebble current and more fun to drive!

I have a 2005 SC430 that I've owned for 20 years. It's a classic & has aged very well but..... the navigation et al have been totally antiquated. I installed the Nav 4.0 w/ BT adapter, Backup cameta and 1 touch top control. Fantastic upgrades that in no way diminish the car's character. It was a 8 hour job for DIY and not for the faint of heart as you disassemble much of the car. It is totally worth the trouble and expense. Highly reccomend SC430Mods products and I have several others
Installed in ten minutes. Immediately worked with no trouble shooting.
Don't get me wrong, I love the nostalgia of flipping through the old CD book and playing those old songs. However, it also brought back to me how taxing it was as well, skipping the songs I didn't like, missing CD, etc... The addition of Bluetooth let's me access Spotify, Satellite Radio, etc... all via my phone. It let's me enjoy the car vs adding hassle.
Install was straight forward. Instructions and the video were not clear on the middle port. It is needed for the default nav to work.
