Microphone Troubleshooting for Apple Users
If your calls aren’t routing through the Bluetooth mic:
- Max out your phone volume the first time you make a call.
- Check your iPhone settings: Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Call Audio Routing, then select your preferred audio destination.
- If audio sounds clearer when speaking into your phone, your calls may be routing through the phone’s mic instead of the Bluetooth mic.
- U.S. users: To test, dial 804-222-1111 and hear your voice repeated back to you.

Installed in ten minutes. Immediately worked with no trouble shooting.
Don't get me wrong, I love the nostalgia of flipping through the old CD book and playing those old songs. However, it also brought back to me how taxing it was as well, skipping the songs I didn't like, missing CD, etc... The addition of Bluetooth let's me access Spotify, Satellite Radio, etc... all via my phone. It let's me enjoy the car vs adding hassle.
Install was straight forward. Instructions and the video were not clear on the middle port. It is needed for the default nav to work.
This bluetooth adapter is a really easy mod. Taking the dashboard apart takes a little time and patience, but the connectors supplied work well. Its nice to be able to keep the stock radio unit, and still have the ability to stream music and take phone calls. This kit is well worth the cost.
Very happy with my purchase. Just what my car was missing. If you have an SC430 you 100% need this. Super easy to install.
This was very easy to instal with just a 10mm socket wrench and your hands. The sound quality too is amazing, it sounds factory unlike an FM transmittter or Cassette connecter (I tried both and they sounded terrible). I did not instal the microphone at all just because I don't plan on taking calls or using any kind of voice command. I can always add that later though and it all works the same without it. The skip buttons don't work, but for the sound quality you get, I can't complain! 10/10!
