Very easy to install under 10 minutes, you will spend more time figuring out where to mount it. I used velcro. Really livens up the car so no delay in accelerating. Many modes: EC .3 or turn it to NO+ (which I think is no change for the throttle response) to keep it OEM. It has 3 settings which it saves based on your preference. Default 3 power settings are 1.3, 2.3, 3.9 but you can adjust it to a new default up or down. I experimented with all of them1.3, 2.3, 3.9. My favortie mod.
WoW what a difference in the accelerati and performance of this little mod. I have a Tundra truck and purchased something similar that was triple the price and half the features of this set up. Calvin is the man when it comes to customer service and responding to questions. The plugs were high quality and they fit perfectly with clicks and snaps where it needed to be. I had removed the center console covers to run a lard zip tie to fish the wire from the pedal plug and strapped all loose wires.
Took minutes and no tools to install. Essentially like slapping on a turbo. I just keep it on full blast. Thing downshifts like two gears, maybe three, when you nail the hammer and throws you down the road. Better than a turbo - really.
I waited too long to get this and install it because I just couldn’t believe that it did what it claimed. I was so wrong. If you only do one upgrade to your sc430 do this one. It’ll be the best 15 minutes you could ever invest in your car.
Installed this TC. Incredibly impressed with the throttle and power delivery! Instant acceleration and very useful for overtaking manoeuvres. Great price and finally an OBD II reader and that doesn't trigger the VSC light every time it's plugged in. Many thanks 🙏🏽
